YDS

This is a project of a church and a square in a university.

The intention is to create a square with church where people will gather and do various activities.

In western churches, the churches are places where one would gather and pray which functions as an agora for people.

To expand the role of the spaces in the church by connecting them with the square and the road is the intention.

Inside the church, the width become more narrow and higher towards the altar, so they would feel closer to the God.

In the agora next to the church, activities including bazaars will be held.

This is an attempt to expand spaces for pray by designing squares surrounded by the church.
