Box of Hope

This is an extension project of a clinic.

The doctor decided to place an engine generator after Great East Japan Earthquake.

There are many problems to deal with in this project, because the site situated in a shopping district.

At first the fire station denied this project because there would be many dangers.

To negotiate with the fire station, the client’s sincere hope to contribute to the people in case of emergency

break the barriers.

After several negotiations, this project was accepted by fire station by putting stainless walls around the engine generator.

Although this is a very small architecture, it is the clear vision of the doctor’s hope.

And it would be very helpful in case of emergency.

This tiny architecture stands in a shopping district like a lantern of hope.
